Tragic story, on 27 of September, 2018 at 11 pm, on rue de la Jonquière (XVIIe arrondissement), in the north of Paris, Louis (late 20's) fell from his 6th floor apartment and was impaled by a bollard.
He was transported to the hospital with the bollard still in him and died shortly after having it removed.
His mother said that she had spoken to him one hour before the incident and he was waiting for guests to arrive. At the time, she didn't want anyone to make any assumptions as to why this happened.
One article said he might have jumped (suspected unaliving , since he was being treated medically for his mental health) out of his apt.
Edit: He did pass away shortly after arriving at the hospital, unsure if he was alive or not when the pole was removed. It's unclear.
